A large earthquake hit central Morocco in September 2023. Thousands of people were killed. The epicentre was in Al Haouz where CARE is already working.

The people of Morocco urgently need help. Our incredibly dedicated team in Morocco is in the area and is working with partners to provide the best response possible.

CARE is providing support to families as they face the prospect of having to build their lives from the ground up. Our first priority has been to provide meals, safe water supply, emergency shelter and medical support to families that were impacted by the earthquake.

We need a roof over our heads."
