About Lendwithcare
Lendwithcare was founded by CARE International UK in 2010 and currently operates in 15 countries through 18 local financial service providers, allowing individuals to make a direct impact on the lives of small business owners.
Lendwithcare provides a revolutionary way to help people in low-income countries to work their way out of poverty with dignity. Through Lendwithcare, members of the public can lend as little as £15 to fund a small business owner. The money is used to grow their business, and once the money is repaid, lenders can choose to recycle their loan to support more low-income entrepreneurs, make a donation to support CARE or withdraw their funds.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated volunteer with lots of initiative to assist the Lendwithcare team in helping inspire its supporters to increase their loan funding for entrepreneurs and donate to support CARE’s operational costs and emergency appeals.
The primary focus of this role will be to oversee and manage the approval of loan profiles, updates and grants published on the Lendwithcare website. Once this core task is fulfilled, you will also support the Lendwithcare Marketing Executive with day-to-day tasks while collaborating with other team members on various projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, an eye for detail, and a creative mindset.
About you
You will be a self-starter keen to take on a diverse and exciting workload to support Lendwithcare’s day-to-day operations. You will also be an experienced copywriter with highly developed editorial skills and a critical eye. While copywriting will be a key part of the job, we also expect you to be a multitasker, willing to take on new projects and work with various members of the Lendwithcare team.
