How CARE is responding

Right now, our incredibly dedicated team is working around the clock to support the urgent needs of people in Gaza, West Bank and Lebanon.

We are prioritising:

• Food and safe water
• Medicine
• Shelter kits
• Mental health support
• Dignity kits for women and girls
• Support for women to give birth and care for their children

CARE has reached more than 800,000 people in need in Gaza and West Bank over past year, and we have supported over 50,000 people in Lebanon since the recent outbreak of violence in the country.

We welcome the recent ceasefire agreement in Lebanon but the humanitarian needs remain immense. Thousands of people remain displaced from their home. Those who have returned face significant challenges including destroyed homes, damaged infrastructure and ongoing insecurity.
